ORDER KFC® VIA THE INTERNET IN LAS VEGAS

New Service is Easy, Convenient and a Time-Saver, Especially During Lunch Crunch
LOUISVILLE, KY - It's a
decision most Americans struggle with everyday usually about 11:30 a.m. . . . Whats
for lunch? Now, the answer is simply a click of the mouse away to KFCs online
ordering.
To make meal planning easier and more convenient, KFC has partnered
with cybermeals, Inc., the Internets largest online ordering system, to give
San Diego residents the option of ordering KFC for delivery or takeout via the Internet.
This service is the first of its kind for KFC restaurants. "San
Diego is a great delivery market for KFC," said Steve Provost, KFC vice president
calendar and brand marketing. "We wanted to provide our cybersavvy customers there
the option of ordering KFC online for the first time ever."
To order KFC meals online, San Diego residents simply visit
www.kfc.com and enter their address, zip code and email, which will be stored for future
orders. They place their order for takeout or delivery by "pointing and
clicking" through the KFC menu. The site uses state-of-the-art navigation software to
notify and place the order within seven seconds at the nearest KFC restaurant.
When the order is received by KFC, a confirmation is sent to the
customer via email verifying the order. The order is then prepared and delivered.
KFC Online Delivery
Customers will be able to place online orders only when they are
within a KFC delivery area and during business hours.
"KFCs commitment to quality and convenience make it an
ideal partner for us," said Rich Frank, chairman and ceo of cybermeals. "The
number of online users continues to grow every day, and we expect our partnership with KFC
to be a huge success."
